Our mission is to build distinctive, desirable homes with openness, honesty, and professionalism.
De Novo Homes, LLC, is owned by Joi Christoff. After over a decade as a law professor, Joi began devoting her creative and entrepreneurial energy to home building and established De Novo Homes. Joi has a varied background in law, accounting, tax, and real estate. She is a licensed attorney in addition to being a licensed home builder. She holds an undergraduate degree in accounting, a law degree, and a masters’ of law degree in tax. She is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the State of Alabama Home Builders Association, and the Home Builders Association of Tuscaloosa.
